Elbow
For markers without vertical drop where paintballs
follow a vertical route from hopper to breech, the
elbow connects your hopper (see hopper) to your
paintball marker. Also allows your arm to bend.
Electronic Marker
Combination of electronics and pneumatics. Electronic
markers include the Angel, Shocker, Rainmaker and
the Bushmaster 2000. AGD are soon to release an
electronic marker.
Expansion Chamber
An area to allow gas to expand to its full volume,
or store expanded gas before being fed into the
marker. This allows for more consistent working
pressures and assists in the elimination of liquid
CO2 in CO2 systems.
Farmers Wife
A term of endearment used to describe portly, rosy-cheeked
French and German Paintballers.
Fat Ass
General term used to describe back players.
Feet
Per Second (FPS)
The velocity measurement for paintballs. Maximum
FPS vary from tourney to tourney, usually ranging
from 280 to 300 FPS.
Field Only Paint (FOP)
Sites or tourney where only paint bought at the
event may be used there.
Fore-Grip
A vertical handle toward the front of the marker
for a more stable grip.
Fred Schultz
The worlds most famous player, although some
would argue that the word player is
something of a misnomer. To do a Fred Schultz
is to get taken out very easily.
