A big thanks to 6E Chicks from Team Votex II for giving us such an excellant game at the end of the day. In my opinion it was the best all day, so thank you.

Also, thanks everyone one else, especially SWAT for their generosity as well as Steve Bull, firestorm red, stormbirds, kamakazees and the other teams i cannot remember. :D

We will be back! ;)

SWAT, do you still want to do that training day, cos i think we need it. At least we went home with + points :)

Vortex II

Welcome to the world of the 2002 Series!
Glad you enjoyed your day & thanks for the compliment about our game against you, I know the rest of the girls enjoyed that game (winning it helped, I'm sure :) ), I was really sad to miss playing that one due to a pulled muscle.

Fun tourney, nice site, lovely friendly marshalls, nice teams to play against. All in all a great day & well worth the slog up the motorway from Kent.

Sory to hear about your leg :( But it was a great game, but all the girls were too small :p . Someone else told me that they hurt their leg too, the one with the 'cocker. I bet that didn't help.

Say thanks to them for us :D

A Firestorm Thanks

A big thanks to all who we played in Division E, especially to the 6E chicks for all their hugs.... how have we survived without before.

Well done to the "Purple warriors" who seem'd like a different team to the one's we played in February as "Team Rebel" you've lifted you game hugely (Revenge will be ours next time).

I thought the marshal's were great apart from the one that eliminated me for spray..... Ho hum!

Did anyone LIKE field 3???

See you all in Nottingham on the 6th

PS : Where does every one stay in Nottingham, still need some pre match beers with fellow ballers :D

"A big thanks to all who we played in Division E, especially to the 6E chicks for all their hugs.... how have we survived without before."

Welcome any time for hugs - there's not enough hugging going on in the sport! Just don't run away towards the safe zone straight after the game next time - we'll catch you anyway so resitence is futile ;) ;) ;)

"Did anyone LIKE field 3???"

Well, actually it was a pretty traditional woodlands type field so I felt quite at home on it & I really liked field 2 (the other one with mostly natural barricades & cover) - took me back to when I was young & that's all there was for tournament paintball, acres of woods. But I suppose that many younger/newer players have never played tourney ball in the woods so it may have felt strange.

Field 3 was great!! Real natural woodland stuff. . . pity i was sitting out that one :( however we got the max we needed to get 2nd in Div C :D

Personally i wasn't to keen on Field 2 a bit on the large side for 5 man, but otherwise the fields played great and was probably one of the most enjoyable woodland events I've taken part in!

Also cheers to the camaronians for a great game on field 5. . pity i was sitting that one out as well! :( good to watch though! :D

Thanks to all for a great tourny, a great site and well organised, however . . . . i curious why did it take so long to get the semis and finals played? It was at least a hour and half after our last game til the presentation. . . it never normally takes that long!

Dear Liz

I was not trying to scuttle away to the safe area to avoid a serious hugging, I thought that you had all deserted us after the game.

I hope that you leg is okay and will be sorted by the 6th, did't you get a injury in the Feb tourney to!

Forgot to mention the high standard of marshalling at the game and how we did'nt loose any points when one of our team shot a marshall in groin area at point blank range just before a game. I hope that they are not too sore :D

Hint to Spyder owners, We had one that had been shooting 250 all day went hot after sitting in the cold waiting for the last game as one of our opponents had two go hot after lunch : after leaving your guns standing shoot a bit of gas off at the chrono station.

WEll, seeing as how we were all at the top end of the field & had to walk back down to the path we couldn't have deserted you that quickly.

Leg is still stiff & achey but will be OK in a few days, just pulled a muscle. And no, I was fine at Nottingham in Feb, we just had all 7 of us available so were rotating out but thanks for thinking of me. I AM prone to injury though due to a motorcycle accident I got mumble mumble too long to say years ago which means my left leg decides not to work occasionally - one of the reasons I play back (as well as being built too big for front play).

Hehe...firestorm, you kicked our ass badly :D.

We had a major problem with our spyders, 2 were chrono'ing at 190 and 210, got to the game and they were at 340-350  I think that was against you guys, the autococker also went down and the battery went down in the other spyder so it came to the point where it was just me shooting :p

Good playing you anyway :D :D

Thanks to everyone in Division E.
We had a fantastic day. I especially enjoyed playing against the Kamikazees. It was a tough game but Nik and I were in the thick of it and we managed to keep them at bay.
Mad Dog was badly injured on the break so I hope he managed to get his chin stitched up last night.
The marshals did a good job. It must have been all those lollies keeping them going all day.
Thanks to Bully for a great tournament. I usually go on about how much I prefer Sup' air but I had a great time in the woods. Unlimited paint is great.
Thanks to Ian and Mark from the Jersey Warriors.
Thanks Mad Dog.
Well played Leanne, Sam and Nik.
Are we playing at the Midland Masters tournament Sam?
