Air Tank?

I have a 3000/48 tank and was looking at it when i discovered that the valve (i think its called) has half come away from where the Gauge is by about 2-3mm, i really dont know if it effects it so please help thanks. :( :confused:

i think what has happened is the bonnet (bit on the top of the tank regulator with the threads on) has unscrewed slightly (very common with guns without an on/off asa such as the invert mini)

if this is the case then it simply needs re tightening onto the regulator, this can be done by screwing it into your gun and continuing to screw the bottle in untill it tightens up again, then tighten both the small set screws
on the side of the bonnet to lock it in place

BUT!!!
do not do anything untill you have pics up as it could be a different problem and could be serious

Ok thanks will you look at pics and tell me if i should do that, and yes i have mini and im going to purchase the On/Off asa as its F***king annoying

ok what soull snatcher said has happened.

First off let all the air out of the bottle.

Rather than screwing the reg into your asa, undo the little screws with the correct sized allen key (possibly 3/32") when the bonnet can be turned without the screws catching, screw it back on and tighten the screws back up.

Ok thanks i thought i would end up having to buy another tanks.
Also the tanks completely empty got my friend to do it with his Etek :)
