Cheating at Max

Following my favorite teams Avalanche and NBK during the tournament made me quite unhappy. First of all NBK didn't live up to their expectations, coming off three wins. However this was a small blow compared to watching Avalanche cheatin' big. We all saw their mugging strategies and their occassional whipes as spectators. It topped off when my to favorite teams played each other. Avalanche starting the game yelling bonus only to see four players getting painted during the break by NBK. The sad thing is that only to players from Avalanche left the field. The game got pretty emotional, but NBK made it clear that they have every potential of making a great pro team, easily beating the dirty players. Lasoya getting goggled
sort of felt good for once. I hope Avalanche and the other teams that cheated take some pride in playing honest P-ball in the future. I forgive my favorite American team, but this sort of foul play must end. I hope the sponsors give them a slap considering the bad PR. Having Pro refs, and some with birdseyes view would definitely help + whiping should result in missed games for players. It is our sport's "doping" problem right now, and we should fight it with the means necessary, video etc.

Funny at Maxs Masters most of the ppl where cheering when someone shoot 'lanche players. I dunno if its a trend but as someone said they started to lose face.

I try to get some pics of the lanche vs. Russian Legion game to show what was up.

Too bad this is never going to be published in magazines.....

Im sure avalanche were not the only team to infringe rules at Maxs, the only difference is they have allot more people watching them...so they got seen!

That I don't doubt but Dynasty had even more people watching and i didn't hear anything about them playing like that.

It's all about image and Avalanche should play doubly clean to prevent getting that name.

And I just don't understand why they did it when they have some of the best players on the planet ! you should have seen the crowd reaction to them afterwards - they can't be proud of that.

Of course Avalanche wasn't the only team to cheat.

Ok Matski, many teams cheated, european aswell as am, and
I disagree if you think this makes it right. many teams did
not break rules flagrantly. Avalanche are also
important rolemodels wether they face up to this or not.

Right - just watched the video again.

Basically Lasoya was in the RL end of the car wash he has been snapping his way out for about a minute. Then one time he comes round the outside to cross shoot the guy in the RIP on the far side. You hear the crowd cheer as he get's shot in the goggles. He then pops back into the bunker for a split second. He then comes out and around the bunker to the coffin continually shooting at the cross field RIP until the guy is elimnated. The crowd starts booing him at this point. Then straight away he turns and runs back to the Avalanche dead box (with continued boos). During this the second RL back guy is shot but Rocky (i think) from the double Y.

Unfortunately the video was shooting into the sun so you can't actually see the hit as but the crowds reaction back up what I remember seeing.

You're going to love this, my video caught it all!!! Shot impacting , paint spraying, crowd booing. Laughed my arse off when I watched it last night!!! Plus, as an added benifit, I have Chris and Todd trying to play soccer on video as well. Might send that clip into 'You've been Framed'.
I'll capture the relevent section of that game and mail it to you today bud, you have to see it to believe it!!
