ya the feeder tube reminds me of the old tippman F/A back in the day. i fired one at my local pb pro shop, its not that bad a gun, not as fast as id like to be for the price [$325 i think]. just incase that f/a feeder jams it has a release that u push in to un-jam it. im sure all the scenario players will jump on it cause it looks like a mp5. at least they got rid of that terrible front grip the 98c's are known for. if u like tippman and want to spend the money itll be the same as any other 98c, with a faster ROF and being the gun uses the spent gas to turn the feeder, its not like your wasting air anyways.

ill stick to my 01 VF Cocker though.

I tested the A-5 for a day and here is what i reckon.

A good gun for a newbie with a sizeable budget. It eats CO2 like there's no tomorrow but also does feed balls at quite a sharp pace. It does look ugly on the right hand side what with the loader thing and the tube that powers the feeder but all in all it an good gun.

i myself would get a custom 98 because a. it looks better and b. it's more easily upgradeable.

A-5

I haven't tested one myself but it looks like a tippmann 98c without a front grip and a better loader. I wouldn't get it because i like the flatline and it doesnt fit on the A-5.

A-5

Look on tippmann.com for info on a-5, If you go to the forum and use search you should find loads of info on it. Theres a writeup and advert in pgi this month aswell. The flatline, rt and e-bolt should be out soon and other companies are starting to make upgrades for it.:p

The 98 currently got more upgrades available, but Tippmann have promised that all of theses upgrades will also be available for the A5
