Thinking of selling my pair of Gen 3 timmies (an Alias and a Dogz) and getting an ego 7 (not playing as much these days, and would rather have something that doesn't require sourcing spares from the states. Two questions:

1 How much is a 7 going for these days?

2 How available are parts from planet?

I'll be teching it completely myself (have rebuilt several Timmies from the ground up, and repaired some mates egos) but don't want to end up with an unuseable gat for want of a discontinued part...

Lemon has been shooting her 07 pretty much constantly since then, good reliable marker. But parts are starting to be harder to get. If it were me id buy as new an ego as i could afford. You can get an 08 09 for not a lot more money

Love the 8s and the 7s - was tempted to err on the cheaper 7 side, but if 8 spares are more widespread, then that's the way to go I guess. The Grey/green model is a lovely looking ebastie.

I don't think you'll be hurting for parts, not for a year or two, but you also might want to look at an Etek 3 or Etha as alternative markers?
