The largest event of the year is almost upon us. The 2006 World Cup will be held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex November 7th-12th. The event will feature over 300 teams from across the nation and around the globe, competing for their share of the biggest cash prize package anywhere! Over $137,000 will be up for grabs!
Our showcase field will feature both the NXL and Championship Sunday. The NXL, the top professional teams in the world, will battle it out for a $40,000 first place prize check and the title of World Cup Champions. These teams have had some incredible games thus far this season and show no sign of letting up. With Boston Red Legion leading the pack and the Philly Americans not far behind, the competition at World Cup promises to be fierce.
Championship Sunday will host the best of the World Cup as teams try to go the final stretch and claim their cash and titles of World Cup Champs. The final games for the Open Division, D2 and D3 Xball, the Masters’ Division, and the NXL finals will be hosted on this field. All the paint, all the practices, all the traveling, this is what it all comes down to.
Don’t miss out on the best competition and fiercest battles of the year. Grandstand wristbands will be available for seating on the showcase field Friday through Sunday. Access to the grandstands will only be possible with a valid grandstand wristband on these days. Pricing will be $10 a day or $25 for all three. Wristbands may be purchased onsite at the Grandstand Seating Tent located next to the showcase field. Seating is limited and will be available on a first come first serve basis so make sure to get your wristbands early.
