Hi All
Not had many problems when wearing my Grillz but always wear JTs when marshaling to avoid any fogging particularly with Race games. Not put thermal lenses in my Grillz yet but wanted to hear what others thought of them before getting some?
Cheers
Rich

I ref the southern masters and my grillz with clear thermal lens have not failed me yet ! Honestly the best thing to happen to grillz and perfect for reffing ! Also used them for a walk on in the damp rain and also played at st tropez millennium event in the heat and not a single fog up. Deffo worth the money :D

Haven't tried them but i don't know why they didn't make them years ago. Thermal lenses are the only way to go and the only reason I never bought Grills, anyone i saw wearing them PRIOR to the thermal lens release ALWAYS had issues with fogging before the day was out.

I've never had issues with Grillz fogging which is why I asked the question. It's only because of hearing about others experiences with them that I wear the JTs for marshaling. I've always been expecting to mist up... Probably a reflection of the time between "game on" and me entering the dead box!

It wasn't the fogging up it was the anti fog layer used to start peeling off forcing you to buy new lenses!
I think you're right, they all seemed ok when brand new, then a couple of washes later and the problems commenced.

Same problem with the profilers when they first came out many many moons ago......

And before them the Leader "goldfish bowls" had a similar coated lense.

I bought some Grillz for Scenario play, love the goggles but did fog a couple of times until Lips sold me some anti fog spray stuff. Now bought a set of thermal lenses but have not used them yet.

Been using events for Tourney play with Thermal Lense and never had a problem.

brilliant, but as a head's up the inside lense marks easily, as i discovered when I hanged them over my marker!! saying that I will buy another lense as they make the mask!
