I ordered my latest marker from canada, and its tracker shows that it left Canada on the 8th June.

Have any of you brought anything from North America, and how long did it take to get to you??

Bought a fair amount off PBnation, and it normally arrives in about 2 weeks. I'd give it another week, if it's brand new from a business then it's probably sat in customs while someone decides how much import tax to hit you with.

The last two gun sized items from america took 2-3 weeks
small items in the past have been anything from 2-7 day

the best think i ever posted was a package to milan in italy posted at 4.30pm signed for 9.45 the next morning on royal mail not a courier

If its not correctly marked up then yes it can sit in customs for a week or so.
This is correct, I labelled a marker going to the USA as "pneumatic paint applicator" once to see what would happen. It was taking a while so I phoned up and they told me it was put on a ship instead of Airmail due to this very reason.

I had 2 separate deliveries (small parts) from the states last week and both took 4 days each to arrive

Not sure if they are still doing it but rm put things on a boat even if it was airmail that weighed over 2kg, last few markers have taken 30 days plus, parts have arrived in 1/2 weeks

Traded my Cocker pump with a guy Stateside and it was quicker and cheaper to split it into two 1.5Kg parcels rather than sending it all in the same 3Kg package.

Generally you get what you pay for when it comes to shipping, I never use anything less than EMS for markers. Better protection should anything go wrong. Too many shrubs handling and shaking the package when you pick the cheap/slow route.

Canadian customs can be a nightmare

That's why a lot of sellers in USA will ship to lower 48 but won't ship to Canada
