need to get hold of Tank for an exit
It occured to me earlier when cleaning kit and sorting out the planet bag just how screwed my other half and me would be if our planet bag got lifted from a tourney.

Anybody in the UK got any decent insurance for their kit, and I'm talking about covering theft from tourneys here too, including abroad. It seems that I'm playing more bigger tourneys, where the "walkies" rate of kit seems to be higher than I'd like, and I'd like some decent cover (pun intended).

Cheers

Mine is covered by home insurance, I had to search around for quite a while to get one with single item insurance large enough but NFU mutual came up best.

they don't seem to have any stupid clauses either

I've go tmine listed under the house insurance as well.. It's all listed as individual items... covers them anywhere in the Uk but not sure about over seas..I've actually claimed before for a cocker damaged at a tournament and didn't have any problems...

Direct line..

Me too.

I have mine as named seperate items on my insurnace. I have listed the marker seperate from the rest of my kit - I blieve you can have as many listed items as you like. I have claimed before and have had no troubles with the claim.

Just make sure that the maximum single item limit is enough, most are.

on mine, the limit is £3000 for any single item, but you don't have to specify it so with new markers etc just get covered automatically.

I think to go from £1500 (pretty much the standard) to £3000 cost an extra 10p a month or something stupid.
