Dear Paintball Teams and Industry,
Making a tournament to live up to the standards of a Millennium event has become a mandatory task for all of us at Estratego. Every year we have tried to improve on last years' event and it seems that teams have liked it by the rate of come backs.
With absolutely no publicity the Mega 2002 has now more teams pre-reserved than the amount of 60 teams we have determined to be our limit. Since we cannot accept all these reservations forever, we would like to ask all of the teams that are interested in playing to not only send their booking form (contact me to have the booking form) but to send full payment of the inscription in order to complete the process.
The venue of the tournament is the University Stadium of Lisbon, right in the heart of the city, just a couple of minutes from the Lisbon Airport.

We managed to finally secure the best hotel possible for the event. The Lisbon Marriot Hotel, four stars, just recently refurbished is considered one of the best hotels in Lisbon. The hotel is at wallking distance, less than 500 meters, from the Stadium and just a couple of minutes from the Airport. As we were given rates around 50% lower than the usual ones, we have been requested to instruct teams to reserve not later than the 6th of April. After this date we cannot guarantee availability and pricing.
Do not forget that the Nations World Cup will take place during the Mega 2002, so get the captain of your countries highest Millennium ranked team to start choosing the perfect squadron to defend your countries flag. This year we will have 20 countries competing for this unique competition.
