28 pro teams for Vegas! Wow, gonna be a blast. The largest pro field assembled for a good few seasons right?

I knew the 'Wackers wouldnt miss out, maybe Ron was trying to make a dramatic late entrance?:D

1. Is the spot really for sale? or do they want 2 teams in the top 18 for more, shall we say, influence?

2. will the nppl even let them sell this spot?

3. who actually owns the spot? dyansty? nppl? dynasty's sponsors?

I feel like InTheKnow and I truly apologize, from the bottom of this tender heart.

naw, the bushwackers shoot autoclackers, the shock boys will mow them with their new super gats...

Actually i'm going to miss Ron at CC this year, he was so funny last year. The guy is such a 'player of the rules' (cheats like a mofo) but somehow he makes it seem less dishonest. Like he goes out there, and does whatever he can get away with, and if the ref pulls him, he just says, 'fair enough, you're doing your job'. ANd he knows every rule in the book.

And he does things, goes for moves where he knows he'll mess with people's minds... But i guess the coolest thing was he has all these crazy plans, and you think they're total BS, but he told us what he was going to do, went on the field, and did it. And it worked...

We were just in total awe...

Sorry for the thread jack. I think what Dynarats are doing is wrong, and the NPPL should stop them, and i suspect they probably will. the NPPL have the knack for doing things right, i'm sure they'll see reason with this one. It's not fair to the other pro teams who battled it out, paid the money and went for the spot. I favor the idea of extending the Pro Bracket by another 6 teams to 24.

I do however applaud the NPPL for this top 18 pros gimick, it's hugely clever, and it's really made the series irristable for some teams... and unfortuantly any league that tries to follow suit will have a hard time convincing teams that their super pro bracket is worth as much as the NPPL's

If the Dynasturage guys get a pro spot, what is the difference between them and the other pro teams? They would have battled it out, paid the money and gone for the spot, wouldn't they?

I don't know what they plan to do with the second spot if they get it. Why is everyone sure they don't plan on playing it? (as Tontons & Tontons Acyd do in MS).

Edit: my grammar sucks sometimes ;)

Wats the odds on them selling the second spot to the Ton Tons?

May sound silly, but Id be supprised if Dynasty have enough cash money to run 2 pro teams simultaneously next year..

Straight from the boys at Flagpull...

The purpose of the 2nd team is to give ever player on Dynasty's roster an opportunity to compete at a tournament level on a consistent basis. Players on Entourage will compete in the semi-pro division of the NPPL in 2005, with the goal of qualifying for Pro for 2006. In addition to the NPPL schedule, Entourage will compete in 2 Millenium Series events as well as fill the roster for Dynasty's Division I XBall team.

Some quotes from our Dynasty spy, Rodney Squires:
"Dynasty Entourage’s mission for 2005 will be to bring new talent into Dynasty’s fold and produce top professional athletes. The practice schedule for 2005 looks to be changing for Dynasty. Players will now be practicing mid week at a new training location yet to be determined. Dynasty’s commitment to continue being the best will hit a new gear in 2005."

So Entourage are looking to play 'semi-pro', and not take one of the top 18 spots..

Interesting indeed :)
