Robbo to coach England in XBall Nations Cup!

News just in - I just heard from the man himself that he has been asked to represent England as coach for the Xball Nations Cup at the Diablo International Amateur Open in August. The event is sponsored by Richmond Italia of Diablo.

Bob Long has already agreed to coach the USA, so Robbo has his work cut out if he wants to field a winning squad. He's looking for players, so if you think you're up to the task, either post here or email robbo@paintballgamesmag.com.

OK, this is the deal, I just got off the phone from Richmond and he has briefed me with what he wants and what he is offering.

I don't give two ****s if you are a Northern *******, Southern slag, Pro or Am, 15 or 40, if I think you are good enough, and you want some, you are in.
The deal we are being offered is this, we get flights and rooms paid for to Pittsburgh for the IAO, the date is in August some time.
There is obviously no entry fee and paint is supplied by Richmond himself.
At first I gotta say, I was kinda apprehensive about it but the more I think about it, the more I think it would be great for England and for a lot of guys (and gals) who visit these boards.

I will promise you one thing as I think it needs to be made clear, I have a lot of friends in the pro scene, if you lot think that is going to affect who I select then you are wrong.
If I go to a tournament up North and some kid is blazing the ass outa everybody, he gets in, no argument even if he is a novice, I am after players not frikkin 'names'.

That said, I will be scouting about from now on, cuz if I am going to Pitts with a bunch of players to play the likes of Oliver Lang and Co, I ain't frikkin going all that way over there just to lose to a bunch of Yanks, especially when for the first time, I can have my pick of who I want
