Firstly a few thank you's.
Thanks to, Diablo, WDP, Planet, Warped Sports, Rekka, JSM Engravers, Adrenalin Jungle, SWPL, Marchbrook Leisure, Series 2k2 Judges, RDX, Mohicans, Elan Marquees, HSS Tool hire, MDP Scaffolding, and all of the MM crew.
Congratulations to The Kellys for an outsatnding victory, and well done to Ledz and his fledgling team taking the runners up spot.
To all the players at the auction on Staurday night, thank you your generousity overwhelmed me. Thanks also to Robbo and his wife , and Kerry- Anne for your help. To all of the Pro players who donated "stuff", thanks, the auction raised over £3000.00 for "Save the Children" , Billy Gardiners signed AA's shirt fetching £170.00, and Richmond Itallia's Image shirt fetching £150. Ledz Banzai, and Fitz the Cat GZ, Russion Legion also fetched over £100.00.
On the whole the level of sportmanship and fair play was outstanding, with only a few individuals not netering into the spirit of the event.
At the presentation, cheques were also handed over to :- R.N.L.I, County Air Ambulance, P.A.C.T, Blakedown Scout Group, Hope House. Each recieving £500.00.
On the whole Shoot the Rainbow II, was awesome, tiring and a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, but well worth it.
Will we do it again, convince us...........
