I'm tempted to head out to Toulouse this year to watch the 7 man competion in June, and I was wondering if any of you lot headed out their last year and could recommend if it's worth the trip, where to stay etc.

well, it's the best tournament I've ever been to and the reports seemed to suggest i wasn't alone.
only thing is it would SUCK to watch such a great tourney and not get to play!

Yeh I'd agree that it'll SUCK not to get the chance to play. But as I'm part of a 5 man team that's only just started out I think it's going to be a while before we get the chance to actually take part in such a major event.

Diablo direct are selling last years tounrney footage on vidio. So we now have a copy in the shop, I have not personally watched it yet nor have I seen it else were. The boys all got excited so I am guessing it's a new release. Hope this helps. I am told it's a bilnind tourney and have heard many tales of the partys. You might well see me there this year.

I was out there last year and it was the best tourney I have EVER played. The games were very god to watch and Angel heaven was awesome. FREE BEER, something us, the cameronians and Joy Division loved
Sparklie, just wondering if that video was the facefull one that only lasts 20-30 mins? If not, I am definately up for buying that one, the games were good, from what I can remember. The players party was excellent last year. This is not a tourney to be missed!

Yeh, I've got the vid myself, that's what's tempted me go get out there and see first hand how it's done.
With the video's you can never see all the angles you'd like to, and it's always over dubbed with music so you can't always tell the rate of fire. It's like a car enthuisast, they love the sound of a V8. well as a paintball enthuisast I think you've got to hear the sound of a paintball gun.

lots of parts with the cameronians in it ie. Fishes angel going down and then he tries to mug a guy with paint in his hands and throwing it at him,sid getting hit ,hardie getting hit and hippie trugging off in the hump after getting hit. bet you had a good laugh at that game shuck i know we did when we watched the video,as usual the scots get seen everywhere they go. Anyway best place to stay is the bowling centre in labbege im sure shuck will agree its the best hotel most of the pro teams stay there and the trades people also
