Being new to the Tournament side of paintball I'm not sure what to expect at the next series 2002 event (April 14th).

I've play Sup'air and I've no problem with that. But I've been told a woodland game is going to be a completely different layout and strategy. Has anyone played at the "Simple the best woodland" site and could explain roughly what the games/fields are like.

Is it anything like the Mission Paintball style of play?

Cheers

Rob.

Jeez that's weird...

played concept before buit never a woodland tourney...I guess there must be quite a few newer players out there in that situation...man I'm getting old.

Anyhow Rob, if it's a woodland tourney in the classic sense, the basic rules are the same: walk tha fields, look for shooting angles and lanes (and also crawling lanes...damn, I guess you concept-only players ain't ever crawled b4!??!) , pick your primaries and secondaries, then get out there, stay tight, shoot some paint and have fun.

peace

RDX played it last weekend (don't worry were marshalling)
It seemed that all the fields played well
we loved the newly built one
plenty of opportunity for crawling
and great blind alleys
Like burb said mainly speed ball type fields

gotta say,

They have put some work in to get the new field up, we played it sunday, and then having seen it played a little , the site made a few changes. all for the better, they changed a couple of the bunkers which would have made a prime spot for one person to control the game, once they cut these bunkers down it played very equally from both ends...

Should be a good days PB, all the fields seem to be winable... would expect to see many draws on these wood land fields..

I don't suppose the sling magically came off after all the fetching and carrying was done, did it?!?!?! :D
