We were thinking of doing the same thing for Germany and I think the answer was pretty much No mate. try speaking to "Tricky" about it, he should know the full details.can someone who knows more about this enlighten me please.
at campaign we are likely to have more players available than we need for our 1st team in Div 1.
Can we enter them in the M5 but be able to use them in the Div 1 squad at the later events ?
just looked at the rules on the millennium website and it looks like we can,We were thinking of doing the same thing for Germany and I think the answer was pretty much No mate. try speaking to "Tricky" about it, he should know the full details.
Ah right, yeah that might have been the problem, i think a couple of the guys who played in Toulouse in Div 1 were going to be playing the M5, that might be why.just looked at the rules on the millennium website and it looks like we can,
you can enter sister teams as long as you let the millennium know they are before hand, then any player can move up to a higher division, even after the rosters are locked but no one can move from the higher team down.
Not really - to be honest, no top team would care about winning the M5 - no matter how badly it went for the first teamTheoretically, what would be to stop an SPL team entering an M5 sister team, and rostering its best players to the M5 team then letting them play the SPL spot, and if things went badly for them that season, they could just drop down and win M5? Would that kind of thing be possible? :S
it doesnt mention an exception in the rules for the M5,Hmm - I may be wrong, and you guys should really ask Ulrich via mail - but I think M5 is outside the normal rules, and that you cannot have a sister team in that division and move players up from there.
I think those rules only apply to CPL, SPL and D7s
Anyway - I am in doubt about when the D7 rosters are locked - if ever - last year it was at the 3rd event - but who knows now, with SPL being locked at the 2nd one?
