ego 05 solenoid

hello

i need a new solenoid for my ego 05, and its just the back part of it

and i am ordering it tonight, (hopefully), and i no longer need the back part of the solenoid, and i was wondering, how do i take it off, because i dont want to break the front of it, and pay a extra 30

there are 2 small sliver clips holding the 2 parts together, slide them off the solenoid with your finger nail, careful not to loose them, then the 2 parts should separate on their own.
to replace it just reverse taking apart, while you have it apart might be worth checking there is no dirt on the spool...check the online manual on the website www.planeteclipse.com for more details.

no jack, i have read the manual several times and it had nothing saying how to take the solenoid apart, there are two little hinges, and i think you take them off, but i dont want to risk it, hense why i put the thread up

they arnt hinges they are clips just slide them off the solenoid and it will separate, you should be able to push them with your fingernail
