Man its so sad and portrays paintball in a way we tourney players dont want it to be viewed as (a wargame) which is what many of my friends say it is.
They talk BS all the time so why should they talk differently about PBall isnt gonna happen.

Those guns r **** they look worse than those guns in the zap-zone trash in bowling places LOL go in there with an upper-end marker and those punks wont be hangin around too long.

it degrades the sport into a gay retarded recball wargame which is very bad as far as im concerned.

Just ask someone what paintball is and they will say "o that x-fire thing? yeah it a load of people going round shooting each other in a wargame"

OMFG slap em 4 that, put a jersey on em and giv em a gun and take em to a tourney.....sorted.

My god ! How closely were you paying attention.
I saw it once or twice last time it was on tv - it's pretty pants but it brings paintball back into the public eye and however it's portrayed on tv it still looks fun and gets the enquiry phones ringing for sites which ultimately means more people playing - which can't be bad for the sport!

But last night was the first time I had actually watched it.

BWAAAAAHahahahahahahaha.

I laughed and laughed and laughed. Then, I got called a sad ******* by my housemates for knowing that the bad guys were using Allstar and the markers they were using. They finally kicked me out of the lounge when I started muttering about applying and taking my own equipment.

I still reckon I could take any one of those "boss" people out... (espescially that Clawz woman.... Hmmmm Foxy!)

I dont think all tourny players think its sh*te, I have played in many tournies but I still enjoy x-fire. Yeah its cheese on a stick. Its meant to be a gameshow, Ive never seen it as a wargame really and its meant to be tongue in cheek.

I like it, its harmless fun, I enjoy it, mainly because its so cringeworthy with the cheesy tag lines all the "special" ops guys have. We all know what they mean by "special" as well dont we

I dont think it portrays it as a wargame any more than mission paintball did. Besides lets face it most punters go to a day and they play missions, they capture the flag, they wear camo, they ambush the enemy convoy blah blah blah.

Also that little oriental girl is the worst paintballer I ever saw, I dont think she has ever shot anyone so far this series.....even using that twin firing thing...all she managed to shoot was the ground.....

As far as I can recall, she didn't hit ****-all last night. What freaked me out was when that guy went in for the mugging on those two girls in the office of the hospital and missed both of them. FROM SIX FEET!!

I'm sorry, but even with an Inferno you'd have to be able to get at least one.

As for "special"... Hehehehehe

If you want to see the grown up version of what X-Fire is trying to be, watch Combat Missions on Bravo. It rocks. Yes, it's full of flag waving crap from the yanks, but when you have a Marine Recon bloke called Rod Nutter (I jest not) on it, you have to watch.

They are also using what looks like MILES laser gear on their guns. Paintball for grown-ups!

the worst thing about it is do they really have to act as if they died??!?!?!?! c'mon man!!!
