First of all i would like to say that i have nothing against Berserks or Tigers AM but there are all these rules about Teams can't get any more players after the 3rd event they have played ( which i have no problem with) but how come these Teams are allowed to drop down a Divison? now i am sure they have played 3 events!
Now my Team has 7 players and my wife goes in to Hospital for an operation on Thursday and will be in Hospital for 5 days so i just hope than we are allowed to have another player to play for us other wise we are down to 6!!!

As I understand it a player can play in a higher division once per season. So if someone played in Div 1 twice this season they should not be eligible for Div 2. The team of course can drop a division if the players fit the criteria.

People - just to clear everything up, please have a look at this:

http://www.millennium-series.com/ranking.htm

"Teams which elect to move down any number of divisions keep 100% of their points earned in this season"

:)

We´ve been in contact with the MS board and had confirmed it would be no problem for us playing div. 2 at Campaign, since it applies to the rules. The reason for us to do so is simply, that we have no chance of qualifying for div. 1 next year - so we thought it would be better for us getting a little bit of experience in the division we are playing next year, and (hopefully) have a good tournament and a good way of ending the season.

It´s been a tough year! :)

Don't disagree with the reasoning HOWEVER, if every body who had no chance of qualifing / getting promoted / likely relegated started choping and changing we should have droped to div 3 after bitburg  (And have the MS even gone firm on locking div 1 yet with likely off season changes again ? )

As long as this continues (or rules alow it) we can not consider ourselves a 'proper' sport. IMO Teams should be required to playout the season in the divison their in after entering 3 rounds.

I think it is also a little bit strange.... but if it's in the rules, then it's in the rules, right?

Anyway, we will give you your desired experience by beating you ;)

And Twizz, good luck with your wife. Hope the team will sort everything out also becuase I would hate to see your good results ruined by having to play with 6. And you know I want revenge! :D ;)

We have droped for the same reasons we allso only have 2 players that have played an event for tigers am this year,
So insted of entering under another name and having every one say your all tigers am we asked if we could drop and as the team fitted in with the rules we were told it was ok.
Good luck to all at cc

Hi Pete, know the problems of trying to maintain a squad. Think Zone only managed one round without guest's but then me being stuck in Gan & MD working for most did'nt help. The thread on UK ball kinda covers it from the few bits I read (over 7 pages by time I got on R&R  ) realy is a sad state of affairs and I don't blame you for dropping as the rules alow it. just wish the rule was'nt required
