January 20
April 10
May 5
November 15
July ?

Enjoy

:D

Syallables = 5 points, therefore July = 10 points

Hmm I have to disagree with you Robbo ... I think:

January 20
April 10 (-10p)
May 5 (-5p)
November 15 (+10p)
July ? (+5p)

I would have to say that the pattern here indicates that it should gain another 5 in July - since your subtracts 10 and 5 and then it suddenly adds 10.

so my guess is
July = 20!? :-P

Disagree all you like my Swedish friend, and fabricate any pattern you like but the fact remains, the clue to solving many problems is to look for a 'beauty of simplicity', ask any mathemetician and he will concur, ask any Swede.......well, what would you expect being named after a vegetable :)

Damn right I'm sacred because if you are right, the whole of the scientific and mathematical establishments woud be turned on their heads, not good for everyday living my friend !!!

In English, the word 'Swede' also means a vegetable which is pretty appropriate don't you think ?
That was a joke by the way, just in case Steve from True Colours is watching this thread :)
