SittingDuck,

Dude, if you're only 5 mins from LPS, you should go down there at the week-end. Normally people are very helpful and polite. I think I'll be down there on Sunday (not too early though), with a few other Monkey's (tbc - will PM you with definite info). You'd be more than welcome to have a go on my Gat, and everybody else would be able to give you some tips and advice.

Won't tell you what Marker is best for you it's personal choice, but be warned Pball will drain your pockets quicker than your average Speed Garage Bling Bling Hoe - so you need to get something you are very very sure about.

ACADEMY ACADEMY ACADEMY

i think you get the idea.
Cockers, mags, e-mags, impulses, infernos, spyders, tippmanns, intimidators, matrix, angels.....
they all appear down there, and if you speak to people really nicely most of them will probably let you have a game or two with them.
The next academy is this Sunday (short notice in know)
If you want details ring Sparklie chick on 01296 434336, and she'll fill you in. (shes not to quick on the old e-mail)

ive spoken, now ill leave :D

Better Things 2 Do!
As billy says - I havn't been down yet but from what everyone has told me its a good place to start if your new to it all - chances are you will also meet people who play on a regular basis and are probably more than happy to have another baller shoot the breeze with em!

So enjoy yourself and really try and have ago on a few markers if you can because there is nothing worse than buying something then using it and realising it doesnt exactly do what you want it to do ( been there done that and bought the T-shirt to prove it) but with the amount of money you are talking about spending £350 you should be able to pick up some nice second hand equipment or even pick up something like the black dragun starter package for less than £170 and have a bit more to spend on playing.
