I've seen a sweet shocktech body that is bolt out back ready and quite cheap. However my Ion is stock and not bolt out back, will that be a problem. Do I have to convert it first or can I use it as it is?

I'm sure the breach is different on bob bodies compared to old school so you may have problems.
If it's cheap and your looking to convert your ion later you might as well pick it up.
