I think you're thinking of the Diablo limited paint series that was held at Nottingham. Two out of the 3 legs were played. The last should have been on 20th January this year , but was cancelled.

You've gotta be kidding Si. The only thing that Elsham has over Notts Skirmish , is the size of open fields they have for the Sup'air. And that is far from perfect. The safe area's no where near as well equiped or as pleasant to be in. The toilets are proper flushing jobbies ( not porta bogs ) but they aren't exactly great either. And there isn't a full size proper Hyperball field there either is there? And the car parking is n't up to much in the wet. Especially with 80 odd teams there.
Dont get me wrong , I've played Elsham a lot of times , and I enjoy it every time I'm there. But you cant compare it to Skirmish.
( I'm not saying this because I work for Nick either , 'cus I dont. He fell out with me months back. And this is MY opinion , so dont go jumping on me people!! )
Lastly... Jon , this might sound stupid , but is it Diablo paint only? 'Cus we're ZAP sponsored , and we might be up for it.
