Hey guys just bought a second hand ego 7 of some guy down in england. Walked on site at the weekend gassed up etc shot 1 ball fine np. started a game and then thats went it all went down hill.
The pressure in the marker keeps dropping i get 1 ball out at full pressure and then it just drops to nothing the balls pretty much roll out. Got 4 different mates that all have ego's or eteks and they could not find a single problem with it besides the fact it was really really dirty inside.

We cleaned it all out, check all the o rings, tried new battery, different air tanks, macro line, relubed everything, turned the HPR up and down, we even set the board back to factory settings.

The pressure doe not build up instantly you have two wait 2 second before its back up to full pressure. I even tried calling Planet Eclipse down in Manchester but there number is not working due to they have moved and not updated there details etc.

Only thing i could think it could be is the solenoid and i really dont want to fork out for a new one =/

if youz have any advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks

first step is to change the battery for a fresh, good quality one

you should take the rammer out and clean/re lube it

reset the dwell to factory setting (found in the manual)

re set the LPR, around flush with the LPR body should set you about right

if none of those work then take apart both the HPR and LPR to check for damage (esspecially on the reg seat), clean and re lube

make sure that the air tank is screwed all the way into the asa and the on/off knob isn't in too far as this can sonetimes restrict air flow

also has the gun been used alot? (shot count should give a good idea)

hope this helps

Thanks for the info Ryan i alreadt tried

replaced the batterys with durcell plus brand new

did that to the rammer

set it to factory

did that to the LPR

Took LPR & HPR both apart and used eclipse grease nothing wrong with it either

did that to the bottle and still nothing =/

well its second hand and last i checked it was pretty high but one of my mates reset it

----------------------------------------------------
Ill take it fully apart and rebuilt it completey and see if that does anything.
So could it possibly be the solenoid at all?

somerset
i have an EGO 7 m8 and i have this same issue, but for me turning the asa on full and backing it off 1/4 turn sorts mine out.

Something to do with the pin being a fraction bigger than it should be, so it in fact seals the bottle when air is turned on fully.

the solenoids in the etek 3 is completelly different to the one in your ego

before you try anything drastic though try just backing the on/off knob out a little (like suggested above)

if it has been used alot then it is more likelly to be the reg seat than anything to do with the solenoid

Did your marker have the same effect as if it had a slow recharge rate ?
