Okay, that's a lie. Er, the telling all part, that is. The ex-Raider part is true. Sadly, as of yesterday I's out of a gig. Sorry, kids, no salacious gossip coming but let's just say that when you scrap with the boss you're eventually gonna lose and I lost. It wasn't the first time, it just turned out to be the last. In my defense I was fighting for what I sincerely believed was in the team's best interest but I could'a been wrong. Don't think so but the possibility exists.

When it rains it pours. Been one of those sorts of weeks and it's only Tuesday.

Now this whole thread isn't really MLT material but then there's lots of threads in MLT that don't really belong, aren't there? And I do have an ulterior motive in posting it here. Upshot is I'm still interested in coaching so if anyone sees this and would like to discuss the prospect please drop me a line at the_asylum50@hotmail.com (btw, there's an underscore between the and asylum.)

As for the remaining guys I wish them nothing but the best and am only distressed that I'm leaving them in the lurch.

Tell all: sorry to disappoint but not gonna happen. Certainly not in the foreseeable future. Until yesterday those guys were my players and I won't do or say anything that makes the transition any harder on them or detracts from their efforts to succeed.

Senor Loco, I am sure your coaching talents will be snapped up very soon. I'm sorry that you couldn't get Doc to see your POV. It was always going to be difficult, and at least you didn't compromise. That is to your credit.

Thanks, Missy, but true to form I'm gonna disagree with you on one thing. Some compromises are inevitable. The tricky part is knowing which ones keep you moving forward and which don't.
