F.A.O Stupid Troopers

Yo.
This is for the attention of the troopers, well whats left of em, I am just trying to find out who is actually left and what is happening at the next series 2002 leg, as Ian and neil have both been in touch with me, and have said that I am playing with you after the unfortunate but predictable demise of The Dam.

Just thought I'd stick something up, see what the crack is, and how much of the troopers actualy remains.

Nicky (organiser) - Left
Spud - Still around.
Jeff - Still here.
Me - I'm around.
Hermitt - Joined.
Geir (dunno how to spell that) - Still in.
Woody + others - No Idea.

So... It looks like there's a few players left.. I hope the troopers survive! The Series wouldnt be the same without 'em. (The same goes for Dam.)

Anyway, what's happened to Dam? You guys looked very much together when you were marshalling the S2K2 event at nottingham... What happened?

Alright Jan,

You can definitely count me as one of the Troopers. We will survive and as far as i know, are on a recruiting drive as we speak. Supair, not sure who you are (just moved "up north"!! and still getting my bearings!) but if you wanna come and play then just give spud a ring and let him know. Talking of which, anyone got his contact details!!

We are still putting in a team for the next 2002 aren't we??

Hermitt, I played for Dam Dangerous if you know of us, before we split. Jan, there had been problems for a while, nothing major reallybut it came to a head after the nottingham leg.
Looking forward to playing with you guys at the next leg, I think Ian has been in contact with Spud, and it should be sorted.

Sweatz: sorry to hear about the demise of Dam. and last thing i heard you were recording an album?

I'm sure the Troopers with keep going despite some of us jumping ship. with new guys like Jan and Hermitt joining the old ways are being kept alive (don't know if that's good or bad! )

Hi guys. Just seen this thread and thought I would update everyone. I used to help Nikki with the organisation and could probabily help everyone out a bit. How you doing Sweatz? What happened to the recording of the record? Dam and the Troopers have always had a good relationship and this will hopefully stay even after the breakup of Dam. I am sure you all will be a welcome addition to the team.

The current state of the Troopers is looking healthy. There are currently 7 players that are available for almost every tourney this year, and 3 others who are not available as much. The main problem appears to be the lack of experienced front players, so get your running shoes on Sweatz

All the Troopers can get in contact with Spud at mail@thefng.freeserve.co.uk as it appears this mail is solely set up for this purpose. Will be looking forward to seeing the Troopers at the next series 2002. Just hope the sheep will be locked away as we all know what a weakness Tony has for them

Erm, we have just finished recording the album actually, now its onto post masterin shiat like artwork, distribution etc, the long and short of it is that youll be able to buy it in all good record stores in April/May
Shuck, Im not worried about playing front dude, Ive been known to bust a mean move in my time and i can run faster than that girlie haired ex captain of mine Ian, so sign me up!!
