The most violent sport there is, static’s show more injuries playing golf then any other sport.

Then again, most yanks play golf and only manage to hit some poor guy mowing the lawn on the next fairway.

Interesting - is that total injuries, injuries per number of people taking part or injuries per manhours played? And of course it all depends on what you class as an injury as well - are we talking bruises (in which case paintball HAS to be at the top of the list), sprains/twists etc or permanent injury?

Golf has one of the worst injuries I can think of! Being struck by lightening has to SUCK BIG TIME!

First of all, I'm extremely proud of America managing to win a game in the World Cup this year! Wooohooo!

The only time I've ever watched the Americans play football in the States is when I've watched the All Womens League (Go DC Freedom!! ) and all the hispanics/mexicans at the park down the road - Still, they deserve to get SOMEWHERE in this world cup. I mean come on, they can't suck forever now, can they??

About the golf thing, I've heard that too - but I've got proof to back it up. My cousin was struck on the head by a golf ball when crossing a fairway on a course down in Alabama (silly sod) a few years ago, he was knocked unconcious and fell into a coma......luckily he pulled through and is still with us today, but it was a scary time

Now I've gotta put up with himself and his hillbillie accent for a few more years!

at least paintball is not like some sports where all injuries are meant to be logged - bloody footballer pros - imagine at the end of a tourney "attention please, can everyone fill out injury forms and mark all injuries" we would be there for hours logging all the bruises.
ask flash how that went when the university a few years back wanted all injuries logged including bruises if they occured at a event that the uni was taking part in. and the worst part is that the uni is thinking of doing it again next year.
