Good call rancid. The fact is that the hunting lobby has suceeded in convincing people that their sport is what tomorrow's demonstration is all about. What we need to realise is that there is far more at stake. Pistol shooting WAS banned because of a few mindless individuals. Don't think that they wont do it to our sport too. Come to London tomorrow!!

I think the Countryside Alliance have bigger things to worry about than a few 1000 Townies who shoot "paint pellets at each other for fun" to paraphrase a well known bus poster,although their basic principles affect everybody in this country,not the issues of hunting,GM etc but the slow erosion of public freedom and rights,the increasing lack of accountablity of Government ,the burgeoning "nanny state",politics are now show business all image no policies and mediocrity has replaced ability.
The Royal family play no real role in the UK's governing...but then again I wonder just how much role the Government plays.The Tobbaco /alcohol/oil industrys kill millions a year worldwide and at home with no comeback but if you kill a burglar in self defence in your own home,or go on strike for better pay or ask why paedophiles are allowed to work on child murder cases your a subversive and don't belong in New Britain...trouble is it seems that a lot of us don't belong in Blairs Britain.
