Level 10 bolt

OK, my level 10 bolt for my Minimag is arriving tomorrow morning. How long will it take to fit bearing in mind my skill level is somewhere round 2/10 ?

I've heard that it takes lots of tinkering to get it right.

(I'm supposed to be playing Temple on sunday so don't know whether to leave it as it is for now or risk taking it to bits)

Check automags.org - as well as detailed instructions how to do it, they have an entire thread answering people's problems on it.
Have a read of the first couple of pages, and the main thing seems to be doing things one at a time and turning the velocity way up when the bolt's in.

Plus I think you need a few hundred dry fires to settle the bolt in.

Its not to bad a job ,but as Jones says it will bed in so you'll have to swap a guide or pop in a spacer or 2.
