Hmmm, well, on the surface, it may seem like that but if you scratch a little deeper (and if you know where to scratch) you will see I am in fact, inhabiting the wastelands between what is 'reported' and 'what is'......
I am not gonna rebut this as succinctly as I could but suffice to say, there are figures and there are 'reported' figures.
Some figures are 'reported' to elicit the notion of a favourable transaction condition and there are alternatively, 'unreported' figures to protect one's real position .......
But in this case, it may well be a situatiion where the incoming party didn't have to be in such a philanthropic mood but then again, that's their fault and maybes the over-exuberance of a certain perambulator blinded him and his new, money-clad pals to the harsh realities of tournament promotion on this scale.
I hope it's the latter because it might bode well for Europe !
