Millennium Mask Rules

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, can anyone clarify what the Millennium Rules are with masks with regards to chin straps being removed and stickers on lenses etc??

Been out of it a while and rules seem to change all the time.

It depends, if your Div 1, 2 or 3 then nothing is allowed. So no stickers, no modifications, etc. But if you play CPL then everything is allowed......

Okay is it just me or does that just not make sense, yes okay with the mask mod rules, but what makes CPL different from the other Divs as far as this goes, surely at the end of the day they are playing the same paintball as we are, if not more aggressive and faster, as for stickers, come on, your telling me CPL can have stickers on masks to promote sponsors etc but others can't despite the fact we are paying almost as much to enter and event....has the world gone mad???????

Technically i think CPL have to abide by the same rules (although i could be wrong). But they officials/marshall tend to let it go cos they're "pro"...jst like the marshalls go one4one crazy in other Divs...but in CPL i've seen guys playing on with a hit and having no one4one penalty being assessed.

Here's a little story regarding rules

A Nexus Ego was used in the CPL in Paris by a Nexus player, he played every point with the same Nexus Ego.
The Nexus Ego had a number of stickers on it.
The Nexus player was kind enough to let one of my team mates use it in our last game.
The gun passed the chrono but didn't get past the sticker test, the Nexus Ego was only let on the field after some stickers had been removed.
So maybe the CPL teams do get treated a little differently.

It's the way it's always been in the Millennium - the top div have the same rules, but only have to abide by about 3% of them.

Everything from stickers, modifications to goggles, walking off field when hit, throwing markers into the running track at Crystal Palace.

After all, wouldn't want to pss off the oh so important pro people.

Not all judges will enforce the rules though, if you look at the rules it should say how many your allowed on your gun etc and its the same rule for everyone. but its whether or not the judge is going to follow them.

So out of interest, how are we as non-cpl teams supposed to promote our sponsors on the field and at possible photo opperchancities for mags etc if we don't have the whole screen printed/custom tops thing going on?

Eh??

So your telling me if you have spent a grand on custom tops from say CSG in the states you can't wear them in any other Div than CPL....your having a laugh mate!!!!!!!!!
