I have cut down soft ears on my mask, stupid thing is that the still cover a much larger are then the legal mini soft ears, i go a set but won't used them as they are too small! I've also doubled up on the soft ears for abit more protection.

Anyone want to buy some fur fabric stickers?

The biggest things the judges are looking for are goggles that are cut or goggles that are modified to a point where they are a danger to the wearer.

The sticker thing is to make the judges and players lives easier during the game. "Is it a hit, is it not?" It also reduces the amount of shouting and screaming at the judges to go in and check what looks to be a hit but is in fact a sticker. We have all done it. Screamed for a check over and over only to see the judge just standing there looking at him and not doing anything.

That judge is then deemed biased. The opposing team are deemed cheats and you lost a game because of it!!!

No stickers on goggles is a good rule as is the sticker rule for hoppers.

Jerseys are big enough to put your sponsors on there as are the pants that we all wear.

Winning is the best way to rep your sponsors people. If you cant win then being professional, polite and not covering up your sponsored product with stickers from other companies is the next best thing.

while we are kinda on the topic whats the deal with custom hoppers such as the stinger ones?

ive gota grey loader with black "E" logos (one big on on the top and two small ones under the empire badges).

Seeing as the hopper is essentially 'monochrome' ie not two different colours and there are no black or grey paints does anyone reckon ill have a hard time?

or should i just use my other black loader?
mainly asking as i always take two loaders to events just incase and wouldnt want to have to swap shells if one went down. also at present i have set up speed feed, on set up stock lid for convenience. so i wouldnt wanna be swapping lids and speed feeds either...due to shells.

any advice

The marshalls will make you remove the one on the top as they do not allow stickers on the front or top. Only one sticker per side and it has to be below a certain size (cant remember what size thought, sorry)

Stickers on goggles is a no-no for sure so advertise what you can on your custom jerseys which you are allowed.

I'm pretty sure lovetone is taking about cutom shells made by stinger, so he can't remove the logos as they are painted into the shell.

if you have logos painted on to the shell, you carnt have any stickers i think as there is then already two colours on the shell

generally you are allowed 2 stickers on your loader but they dont mind where you put them, mine are one on the top, and one on the back and that was fine for all of paris

12.01 Loaders (hoppers) cannot be clear and must be made of a single color. Smoked colored hoppers are allowed. Stickers on loaders or other feed devices will not be allowed except for one 5 x 10 cm sticker on each side of the loader or other feeding devices. Colors of stickers may not contain the color orange. Transparent lids on loaders are permitted.
So it's likely that he won't be able to use those shells. Then again, the enforcement of these rules changes a lot from field to field.
