My Dad, used to bake mine I think, so the flesh shrank, then drilled a small through it, then injected the whole thing with Araldite...thread it. Jobs a goodun!

There's a conker tree next to my house if you ever come down here . It must be a good 100-150 years old. And some of the conkers are HUGE.

hahaha i no best ones are the ones that you find down the back of your bed ar something which have been there 10 years i got one of them last year which was already super tought drilled a hole and drilleda fair bir out of the inside e poxy resin on the inside the the whole thing coted int he stuff it would break bricks when it was done

A mere 6 miles from you there's a secret conker patch in the middle of a nature reserve that has the best conkers you could ever ask for
Proper conkers......grown on real trees......not stunted by the smog, or disfigured by discarded heroin needles, or shrink wrapped in used condoms, or drunk on stella cans, but developed just as nature intended them and untouched for 10 months of the year.
Just don't let the warden catch you as it's a strictly off limits area
