hard mask over flexible ? it has not been released yet so an opinion cannot be given
yes a opinion of a hard or flexible mask could be
"i prefer a hard mask because more protection"

i asked for a opinion of the looks of the angel eyes mask

a opinion of hard or flexible mask

and a opinion on a good mask to get for a larger head

whats so hard to get about that ?!?

What people think of masks shouldn't matter to you a single bit.

Go to a store or a site walkon or hit the M40 this weekend and come up to Bricket Wood (Sunday recommended).

Once at one of these places, try on and play a game with every mask. People will have everything from Grillz to i4s. Find what YOU like.

it read like you was asking about the eyes.

All masks are flexible to a degree , the JT flex has more 'flex' due to its rubber lower.

If you have a large head, do not get Dye I4's , they are designed for the stream lined figure. Again most mask's follow the same design , nowadays its about the looks. I use Dye I4's but i love events because they look cooler :).

To me it does matter because im not in a position were i can go to somewhere to try masks on as there is nowhere close to me and im not going to a walk-on for a while so i can only go off reviews/opinions from other people

and the only real opinion i wanted as such was about the look of the angel eyes im curious on what other people think on the weird look of them

Then go to Diamond Wars without a mask. Try on several off various people, and go and buy the ones you like the most.

Unless I'm mistaken, there should be a whole range of suppliers and stalls there? Seems like an event that traders would flock to.

I'll presume LIPS or other retailers will be there?

If its looks your more concerned about, then buy a mask which looks good to you. Most players buys a mask which they feel are comfortable to wear and has a good degree of protection.

I tried on the prototypes, they're completely different to any mask i've tried before.
As you may know, most masks will rest on your nose, which i find a bit uncomfortable as mine is on the larger side :( The eyes on the other hand, rest on your cheeks - which feels weird to start with but is a lot more comfortable in my opinion. The only problem is they have a large profile and are very hard, so they're not as subtle as a pair of i4s, and are a lot more prone to balls breaking, instead of bounces and like a proflex.
From experience of my masks, the Empire E-vents were tighter on the nose, and got fairly uncomfortable after time, however were quite flexible, so there were more bounces.
The i4s are lower profile and a great field of view however, be prepared to be hit in the jaw sometimes if you happen to be calling positions. They're also fairly hard, so lots of breaks.
I've recently got a pair of JT proflex's, but i've only used them for one training session, so can't really comment on them just yet but i know i ate a lot of paint that day :p

At the end of the day, each mask suits a different person, its just finding one you think feels right. But you can't really ask for a review for something which hasn't come out yet :p
