Keely can't get into the forums .....again. So, I'm posting this for her.

Paintball Sports Promotions is proud to announce the introduction of turf to the most prominent paintball series in the world. The turf will debut on all six fields at the LA Open to be held at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA March 1st-4th.

While the PSP has secured the use of the turf at events during the 2007 season, the Mid-Atlantic Open, the Chicago Open, and the World Cup will continue to be played on grass. Our fourth event of the season to take place August 2nd-5th may use the turf depending on location. We are excited about this great new product and the options that it will open up to the league in terms of venue selection.

Over the past season, we have recognized the opportunities turf creates for selecting venues and at times had venues slip by due to a lack of turf. We chose to continue hosting events on grass through 2006 instead of purchasing the lesser grade turf which we could have afforded at the time. We appreciate the strain of the sport on our athletes. We understand the arduous physical requirements of truly intense competition. We wanted to provide a quality turf that would meet the rigorous demands of the Xball format; a turf that is truly worthy of the sport.

The new bladed turf has been designed specifically to meet those needs. It has been tried and tested numerous times over by experienced paintball players that understand the importance of a field’s playing surface. It has been designed specifically for the athlete, for the sport, for you.

Stay tuned to www.pspevents.com for more information about the 2007 season including information on events, registration, and much much more!

Location, Location.
Im gonna go out on a limb here and say its not the XL turf. Considering how much it costs to ship around europe to the various tournaments i would guess that an american company has the contract.

I could be wrong though.
