Unbuckling your belt first helps! (sorry, couldn't resist).

On the matter of RoF (rate of fire), you'd be hard pressed to emulate an e-trigger's rates, using a mechanical marker such as your piranha. The thing about electros are that they need teeny tiny trigger pulls to activate a small switch, whereas a mechanical gun 's trigger has to work against a couple of springs and a lever.

One method is known as "fanning" the trigger, where you fire from the wrist rather than the finger (hence the fanning motion). You take your hand off the grip frame, and then fan your hand back and forth. The drawback of this is that you're unlikely to hit anything!

The other thing you can do is a trigger job, if you PM me I can send you some details. I dont know what the trigger is like on a stock piranha, but on my spyder it shortened significantly after a bit or work.

You can help yourself by just practicing, too. I swiped a metal spatula-type-thingy from a chemistry lab at school and bent it into a spring, which I could then use to increase the strength of my fingers. I take it that you're just starting out, and I faced the same problem as you. Speed will come, but for now, take advantage of the fact that you have to make your shots count, it will make you a better player in the long-run :)

If you can get to 7 or 8 bps then be happy......... most of the payers firing 15 bps + are using kit worth as much as the car they drive to tourneys in :)
I can get over ten bps easily, but I'm using a Timmy or E-blade so heavily upgraded that the company that makes them wouldn't recognize most of the parts. Don't worry about firing quick, 15 bps is great, but it's no where near as good as 3 hits per game :)
Do you have a double trigger? you need a good one to be able to use two fingers.
DOn't put too much faith in rapid fire....... it's the one aspect of he game that you can improve just by chucking money at it.

i agree. firing fast is not a substancial part of the game, especially in the beginning aspects. one shot, one kill as they say in sniper school. learn that lightning fast snap shot around the bunker. otherwise, when i do sit at work, since i am also a bass player in a band, i just keep my fingers loose by moving them rapidly and stretching my hand outward. good luck m8!

Easiest technique for shooting a mechanical marker....guaranteed!

1 - Take the right hand and outstretch fingers
2 - Put all 4 fingers and 1 thumb in the pocket of your pants
3 - Retract all fingers from pocket (make sure they are clenched)
4 - Open palm of hand, and in it should be a few pieces of paper with queens heads on em'
5 - Take these to the nearest paitnball shop, then purchase an electronic frame for it

;) :)

Sorted, now you'll have a fast marker with no effort!
