Reflex CockerTrouble

I have a Dye Reflex cocker which i picked up a few month back, the marker wasn't shooting right but i knew this when i traded it and was happy to tweek it and tune back up since the person who had it didnt know anything about the gun.

Anyway, im having a few problems myself in getting it running proper, which at one point it was running sweet but the next time it was gassed up it reverted back to its old self.

Anyway, i was wondering if anyone who is going to the CPPS in feb and knows cockers well that could have a look at it for me because im completely stumped now?
It would be a great help cause i would love to have this gorgeous marker working again.

It's a mech cocker with roll trigger.
well, atm it is loosing air down the barrel, when you fire it, it fails to recock, so it sits in the uncocked position thus all the air gushes out through the barrel, also it has taken to leaking from the 3-way but this isn't a big problem.

The problem which is baffling me is the first one, which when it does recock, it sticks in cocked mode with the back block at full out position but then when i get it to go forward it doesn't re-****.

So i've tried all sorts, like lowering or raising the pressure from the LPR, adjusting timing on the 3-way but still fail to get it to work right hence why someone with a bit more experience should take a peak and see what they think.

it might just need retiming buddy,

first make sure that the back block is in the right place, there should only be a very small gap (just enough to slip a piece of paper in) between the back block and the body when the back block is pushed as far forward as it goes

then adjust the cocking rod so that when you pull the back block back (without air) it catches the sear just as the bold cleares the breach

after that use the adjustment collar on the timing rod (that goes into the three way) and the hammer adgustment screw (accessed through a small hole in the top of the body) to make sure that the gun fires before it cocks when you pull the trigger slowly

when you first gas up the gun does the back block stick back or forward?

it's a hinge trigger gee tee.

When i gas it up it is fine until fired, once fired it either locks back or it doesnt catch the sear and spews air down the barrel, however sometimes it does fire fine once or twice then does the above.

The back block looks in a good position, slightly off the body by a mil or 2.

I did have it firing ok at one point, rapping away without a problem but then once ungassed and then regassed a few days later i get the same problem.

ok.. when you pull the cocking rod back is it catching on the sear then ?

if it is the you may need to look at the timing of the 3 way or the lpr

if its not catching then try lowering the hammer lug a tich..

with the mechs you need a smooth full trigger pull or your going to short stroke...

reason why it may lewak after you fire it, is because if the hammer isnt catching on the sear after you fire then its resting on the valve pin, if the lpr isnt set that high itll just open it slightly and it soulds like you have a leak down the barrel

when i pull the back block back, the sear catches no trouble.

The 3 way timing was set with a mark on the rod thread when the marker was working but i have had to slightly tweak it to stop a leak on the second purge hole on the 3 way which ment the timing on the 3 way was slightly out.

When i managed to get it working i did have to mess around with the 3 way timing and the LPR however it doesnt seem to stay set, now i simply cannot get it to work.

it doesnt just leak down the barrel, it fires out the barrel like a co2 fire extinguisher lol

Ok now im not sure this would affect the cocking sequence at all but the cocking rod is minus the little rubber cussion that sits in the cocking rod.
Could this be of any consiquence?
