Ok off work today so can work on this thing.

Ok after having a proper look at the cocking rod and back block with regards to the rod pulling back a couple of mil after the back block is fully out, it seems it does pull back a little further, about 2 mil.

EDIT: Damn 3-way is leaking through the first bleed hole, o-rings look fine, popped oil on them and even tried a second 3-way bullit but still leaking and failing to fully cycle, godamn thing.

Still sounds like a timing, and possibly over springing issue to me

Has the gun had a lot of use? Ram seals can wear leading to a lack of effort on re-cocking, even when LPR is cranked right up. I've had to replace seals in the past to cure it. What type of pneumatics and 3 way has it got - original Dye or aftermarket?

My own timing routine is..

Set hammer lug and cocking rod first. Making sure ram has sufficient travel to re-c0ck fully, and bolt clears feed neck. Sometime ram rod needs adjusting to stop it hitting end bumper, and pulling up short.

Then I set LPR and 3-way so the gun cocks, fires and cycles reliably. Usually with a big dwell at first, which I gradually tune out, using hammer lug and 3 way adjustment. The aim being to get the cocking and firing sequence as close as possible, without going too far. Otherwise the back block will catch the cocking rod on the way out, and mess up velocity. HPR setting should be around 300psi as a starting point, and fine tuned from there. Once the HPR is sweet spotted I'll leave it set, and fine tune velocity on IVG.

Oh and possibly not an issue here - but you need to make sure hinge & slide frames are hosed up the right way. Otherwise the 3 way valve will work back to front. Hence my original question ;)

Hope that helps

The marker has an STO ram fitted rather than the standard dye one that came with it, the 3-way and bullit reg are original to the marker.
The hosing is set ok for a hinge trigger also.

However the 3-way leak that has developed is quite a problem in setting the timing cause the gun wont cycle properly with this problem, not sure why it's leaking but ive tried 2 different 3-way bullits in the 3 way which i know work cause they are off another cocker that is working.

Could the first barb on the 3-way have a blockage maybe?

If the bullit 3 ways work and don't leak on another cocker, it sounds like the timing rod is badly adjusted on the reflex, putting the seals mid way between ports. One thing to try is removing the trigger frame, and moving the timing rod by hand using your fingers. This way you can work out 3 ways operating stroke, and transfer that setting to the timing rod once the frame is re-fitted. I used this method to set up my Evo, when a short action hollowpoint was proving to be being a PITA.

Yea i thought the same but ive adjusted the rod to every position to try to stop the leak, but the leak remains.
As soon as i gas the gun, air comes out of the first blead hole on the 3-way, the problem i had last time i gassed it up it was coming out of the front bleed holes but now it's not, anyway, ive adjusted the bullit's position to stem the leak but to no avail.

I should probably just send it off to be fixed but i dunno where to send it to lol.

As Gee Tee said it could be the ram piston seal is leaking, so the 3 way will always be exhausting air, and would lead to cocking issues.

ok i will do this tomorrow.
just a thought though...where do i get replacement seals from if they are indeed shot to hell in the ram?
