Thank you to Paul and the lads from SWAT for the use of the site, the catering staff, the marshals from Dyehard, Delta, Manchester Marshals and "Stiffy" Marsbar.
Thank you to Phoenix/ZAP for supplying the prizes and bringing the paint and also Tracy Paint for bring the paint.
I have read the other posting with interest, yes there were problems some manufactured by ourselves and some natural. I would point out to those newer players that the "older" (not necessarily age) players - played on fields similiar to these for 10-15 years and you have to adapt your play to suit the fields. I think the results show that the teams who did well either have a wealth of experience in the woods or actually train at woodland sites.
There should be more to paintball than sup'air ball. It will be interesting to see if the results are mirrored at the next event where ALL the fields are woodland.
The only sour note was the theft of the marker, please look at the other postings and keep an eye open for it. Also how is Darryl, Al I rang today but no answer on the K2 paintball hot line.
