well... thats mine out but i was gona make a smaller one anyways.

Why not limit it to 500x100 pixels? thast the same size as mine or is mine too big?

Both file size (for the poor 56k'ers amongst us) and physical size - even me with my huge resolution has to scroll off to one side now and then.


(Also maybe restrict the number of lines of text too - although not sure if that can be done with vbulletin, some are ridiculous*)


*lists of equipment, including backups, with every shiny upgrade on a separate line spring to mind - maybe if these can't be limited, the owner of said sig can be "requested" by a mod to cut it down a bit?

for all of us unlucky people with 56k they are fukin anoyying if they are too big size wise. also the ones that take up half a page are almost as bad.

nothing wrong with having sigs but why do u feel that u have to ram them down our throat!!

manike's is quick to load and still looks ok so why not that sort of size

Physical and file size should be limited. Maybe 400wX100h as far as the file size that can be determined later.

Yep it is an option to not see them. Available for those that don't like them at all.

I do like them, just not ones that fill the whole screen (don't care about file size as always on ultra fast connections).

While they annoy the hell out of me (and I'm on ADSL or T3 before you ask!), I can see why other's like them.

I vote for 500/100 pixels with 15K file size limit.

Guess you can't count as well as being blind your sig pic is 23381kb in size, mine is under 10kb but then is limited in physical size as well and not centred but then normally centered sig pics don't affect me as I have a large screen on high resolution (but spare a thought for people with 15" or smaller screens on a 640 x 480 res) I will remove mine if it does cause anyone a problem (bit annoying as I was one of the first 3 people to put them up) but at least mine IS paintball related
