hi all, i have a proto slg ul and im having some trouble with it.

when im fiiring i can shoot about 3 balls through it and then it decided it doesnt want to fire. the trigger goes stiiff and the eyes go red (no ball in chamber)

im using an extreme rage hopper...

whats the problem? am i needing new batteries in the hopper and gun? (ive put some semi-new ones in which should be fine as they are not old)

any adviice would be great as i am a newbie.. so expplain any techy terms please!

hi all, trial and error has led me to suspect the batteries. can you use rechargeables in the gus and hoppers?

im thinking of getting some as they are alot more cost effective long term. and argos is doing a BOGOF.
if they dont work i will switch to the standard disposables. i will report back tommorow and see what the conclusion is.. the gun is now blinking telling me the batteries are low... if only it had done that before!

cheers

batteries

from general chat with fellow paintballers, you shouldnt use rechargable batteries in your marker as it can fry the board

ony use rechargable's in loaders but there is also a risk, ive used rechargables on my loaders with no problems but maybe ive been lucky ?

ive used slg's and on average can only get about 2 walk on's out of an slg and need to replace the battery compared to 5-6 walk on's with an ego so slg's are heavy on batteries

best batteries to get are the proper green batteries from paintball suppliers they last for ages look on eclipse site for close up pic
