Team Chemistry

After reading the last 2 articles about it by Justin Owen. I was wondering how many of you and your teams actaully have that total family team concept going on? I know when I return to the US if I start my own team I am going to put his articles to good use. How many of you and your teams do other things together besides Ball?

Yeah, all the guys that are on my team knew each other before becoming a team. We had spent many a night in a drunken stupor together...

In the summer months, the night before a training day we camp at our site and have a BBQ and most of the team gets a little drunk oh and then Dan dresses up in womans underwear.

What about practicing for paintball? Or getting online and talking about paintball? Or raising money for paintball? Do those count because between those and school, I barely have time to sleep.

No but really, 2 of us knew eachother from school, and the others are people we know from paintball. We are all pretty good friends though.

1 friend from school
and i knew alot of the other players because their my uncles mates

OUR TEAM ALL SOCIALISE OUTSIDE OF PAINTBALL,TRUE ENUF PAINTBALL BROUGHT MOST OF US TOGETHER......
I AND MY TEAM MATES USED TO HAVE ALOT OF HOBBIES OUTSIDE PAINTBALL,BUT NOW NOTHING COMPARES TO THE BUZZ OF PAINTBALL.....SO WE AS FRIENDS AND TEAM MATES PUT EVERYTHING INTO PAINTBALL......
I THINK THE KEY TO HAPPY A PBALL TEAM IS TO ALL BE MATES/BUDDIES SO THAT YOU GET THAT TEAM THING GOING ON...
I THINK IT ALL COMES FROM WATCHING OUT FOR EACH OTHER ON THE PBALL FIELD,AND THEN PROGRESSES FROM THERE......
PLUS YOU BOND AS TIME PROGRESSES ON....
THE CRAFTY THING TO DO IS TO INTRODUCE GIRLFRIENDS/WIFES TO EACH OTHER THEN THEY CAN CHAT SO THEY ARE NOT LEFT OUT,WHILE YOU AND YOUR MATES TALK CONSTANT PAINTBALL....
I KNOW SOME OF MY MATES FROM PAINTBALL WILL BE MATES FOR LIFE.....AHHHHHHHH
THE ONLY THING THAT CAUSES PROBLEMS IS WHEN A TEAM MEMBER/MATE DOES NOT SEEK THE SAME GOALS THAT YOU AND YOUR TEAM MATES DO,HOW DO YOU DROP HIM AND NOT CAUSE WAVES.....THAT MY FRIENDS IS THE DEATH OF MANY A TEAM....!!!!!!!

we have good chemistry at pompy due to the fact that we are all student. getting pissed and being broke is a lot in life.
also the weekly meeting (read piss-ups) then the usual lets watch some thing on tv to do with paintball, also helps. also there is the summer bbq but that just leads to people being sick on the coach the next day - for those who don't understand alcohol had a major influence.

How about working together does that count??
If you have to work with someone for 40 hours a week the last thing you want to do is see the same old 'boat-races' outside of work. It don't help that we have been banned from talking about p8ntball at work

We cook and drink together a fair bit, sometimes go to other sports events, play video games, and 3 or 4 of the team work together.

Pah, Manson family has nothing on the Apoc family...

We spend every weekend together, training, drinking falling over etc.

Most nights on the phone eyc etc

I would lay my life down for one of my boys, I love em all
