I'm not having a dig at anyone here, i just noticed that there are a lot more French teams signed up for Toulouse, than there was British signed up for Campaign last year. Did anyone else notice this?

I guess it doesn't help that Campaign was the last Millennium of the season last year and it was held in one of the most expensive countries.

I can't really say anything as i didn't play Campaign but i was just wondering if anyone else noticed and why or what they thought about it.

The reason my chaps didn't go in last year was the cost, and with that having escalated again this year with VAT being charged it might be difficult again.

We also have other events to play and so the limited finances put limits on our ability to touch Mills.

No reason to be discourteous Mikey - by far the large majority in our sport do NOT play "major events" - and with good reason.... they are about having fun in paintball, not "winning and becoming the best in the world"..... and spending £ 600 to go to France and getting your ass kicked all weekend, is nobodies idea of fun.... so why on earth should they go?

I have the utmost respect for ALLE teams out there - as long as they do not pretend to be something they are not - and if the team is about "fun" - they have no place at a major event :)

It wasn't aimed at the teams that have "fun". If thats what your about then good, if thats what works for you then continue to do it. Play campaign just tp see the international level and have a bit more fun but thats what its going to be.

It was more aimed at the first point you made in the 2nd paragraph
