Here's a fact for you guys: NOBODY EVER DIED FROM CANNABIS!!!
Which can not be said from a lot of things which are legal.
And yes, I am Dutch, but no, I never smoked anything in my life.

Buddha 3, while I cannot say for sure one way or the other that noone has ever died from an overdose of cannabis(which I sincerely doubt they have) I have been personally involved in several cases in which cannabis played a large role in the death. Yes, the official cause of death is the fact that some moron plowed his 2000 pounds of steel into a bridge abuttment and it is listed as an accidental death. Then you get a sniff of the car and it's no longer any mystery. The problem with deaths as a result from the misuse of cannabis is that they are under-reported and the laws aren't very well written with regards to that. As for you Abba, I will look it up because I don't know for sure one way or the other. When I have found something I will post back.

I've got to agree that taking cannabis and driving is a dumb idea, just as drink driving is. How can it people be made aware of the risk and tested when its an illegal substance, and the government cannot have controls over it?

Just to keep this tread going;
Can anyone justify a reason for cannabis to remain illegal, looking at current laws towards other intoxicating substances, bearing in mind i dont accept gateway theories (I'll explain why if you really want)?
