That's the point, K-mart is like a Tesco's superstore just take a basket and buy what you want, go to a Paintball shop and you would be talked through all the needs, goggles, clothing etc.

If i'm not mistaken, on the link you put up about this subject. It had a link to wdp, i'm very shocked to see the concession given by wdp to sell such an item without the seller(s) given or posessing proper knowledge regarding SAFETY of such an item on shelves in shopping malls.

Perhaps i'm wrong in saying this, and apologise if i have the wrong end of the stick but do shopping mall attendents know of paintball safety  i doubt it.

Sorry, this is BS. I know I can walk into a lot of UK and European paintball stores and buy a marker without people even mentioning goggles or anything else.
Getting paintball stuff into shops like these is a major step forwards, and should be welcomed. Companies like WDP put loads of safety instructions on the packaging and manuals of their products, the same goes for most companies.
Let's not get carried away.

Jay calm down !! we all know there are many Paintball Retailers that just sell products and don't tell you the all important safety things ;) ......just that the chances of getting a K-Mart employee on minimum wage to know what is required is a little bit of a stretch...until recently all the K-Mart stock was plastic Talons and similar stock...to be able to find a "high end" product in such a store is to be commended but does raise the question of staff training or the lack of it......I have been in these stores and expirenced the lack of knowledge first hand :D
