hi im wondering if anybody can help me, i recently bought a tippmann a5, which needed a new tombstone,

i took the marker into bits cleaned everything relubed the o ring and attached the new tombstone

the marker still seems to be leaking air from what seems to be around the nose of the marker but aslo it wont recock itself after each shot maybe which may be down to the lack of pressure as my air tank was virtually empty

any help would be much appreciated.

no but i have replaced most of them, all the ones in the power tube and bold, air line.
but im thinking of taking it up to just paintball, and maybe upgrading it to a jcs metal one and see if that works because iit may be a fauly valve like it says on the tippmann website.

is only seems to leak out of the barrell once the gun is decocked and because it wont recock it leaks after each shot.
let me know what you think

cheers

well im no expert but it happened with my 98 and the power tube was faulty so the best thing to do would be to take it to just paintball or bz to look at it and get it serviced or give them a call they usually can tell you the faulty on the phone .
hope this helps

personally would have thought its your bottle almost being out of gas..

the A5 needs 800psi in the tank to recock...get your bottle refilled and then try again..

Also you said you've replaced all the o-rings in the air hose...are you using a remote hose?....if so try the bottle on the gun and see if that helps...it is possible that the remote could be starving your marker of air and there isn't enough to recock it.

ye will do, and its leaks both ways with and without the remote
