Just like to say thanks to Nick at Skirmish Nottingham (are you sure you don't mean Worksop??) for the superb 10 man event yesterday it rocked.

We aint never played an event with 10 dudes on each side it was crazy but I loved every minute of it, knackered now though, those 50 runs really do a number on your legs man.

Big thanks to the yankee boys Team Corossion for inviting us to guest for 'em, the cleverly named K-Rossion played pretty well and nearly upset a few teams but couldn't quite make the cut; but hey, there's always a next time.

By the way, it IS true what they say about yanks....they can't drink...he he he he, well Pat can't anyway.

L8r guys.:D

The 10 man was a blast!! Big thanks for K2 for guesting with us and partying with us the night before. Great time. A little disappointed we couldn't finish off Maxem and Viper being 3 or 4 guys up on them in each game, but hey, you can't win em all. Thanks for the great weekend;)

P.S. Give Pat some credit. He was slamming the JD pretty hard:D

Glad you all had a good day.

Next time you come to us, stay in Nottingham. It's well worth the extra travelling time to site. We might even bring along Wide Load, our gunsmith / heavy drinker to show you how to really knock them back.

Out of curiosity, how many boxes did each team shoot ? I know some teams were taking 25 boxes, and having seen the state of the fields today, I can believe it.

What did you think to the layout of the Sup Air field ? Having only played 10 man in the woods around 10 years ago, it is not something that is easy to convert to 10 man Sup Air. Did we get it right ? Or was it Bif like ( stupid ).

Look forward to your comments.

I believe we shot 17 cases. Big Ian, Get me some info about that Easter tournament in the mail would ya. Both fields were excellent. Great work from all you guys and gals up there at Skirmish Notts. Excellent Site.

One thing I wish you guys had up there was an air compressor so we could have constant air flow. I know most teams were only getting 2500 fills out of the bulk air and as much paint as we were shooting per game we had to reserve what we had. I know Smart Parts ran out of air and left the tourney without finishing and if it wasn't for Banzai, we wouldn't have finished either. (Big thanks Banzai). I just think the air situation could improve. Other than that, awesome site and a great weekend.

Thanks:D:D

Easter Tournie

The tournament at Easter may or may not go ahead, depending on the state of the Hyperball and Sup Air fields.

They have had 2 tournaments on them in the last 8 days, and they are obviously feeling the strain.

If we are 100% sure we can get the fields up to standard then it will go ahead ( depending on teams ).

Should know for sure in the next 2 weeks or so. I can guarantee that if it is going ahead you will get the info.

Sorry about the air situation, it did affect a lot of teams, mainly due to the lack of experience of 10 man tournaments and the amount of paint needed.

I did put a posting up about compressors a long time ago, and got no response.

It has been noted though, and we will see what we can do.

The fields rocked!!

We could never get our little heads round your hyperball field on ourr last few trips but we seemed to rip it up at the 10 man, just had too much fun in the subs. The sup'air was awesome man, some of the experienced 10 man teams may not agree (don't know why) but I loved running the t-bag on the 50 from the break; you have no idea how much my legs ache.

The air situ did suck, if all the teams had been allowed to pool everything we coulda managed easily I reckon but alas, it went a bit pear shaped.

Can't wait to play the hyperball again.

;)

Bif Like????

or was it bif like???? thank's Ian, I would just like to ask, who was te one stood out in the rain in the middle of a field with 10 people either side of them, and getting shot to ****???

and you call me stupid.
but from what I did see you guys did a good job.

well done to wdp in their game against banzai, you had some of the tiger's on the edge of their seats for a while, while they counted the points up, unlucky guys, maybe next time.
