the bore is the same all the way down the barrel or so i have heard? so what are the different backs for?

the backs are just for changing the thread of the barrel that goes in the gat.

or if u have 2-3 bodies for their different bores, u unscrew back and put on different bore'd body.

The 'fronts' have a thread about 8/10th's of the way down the barrels. They screw into the 'back' using this thread but the 'front' extends all the way to the back of the 'back'. This then screws into your marker.

If you change marker, you just need to change the back and keep all your fronts.

Will take some pics in a minute as I know this description isn't really clear!

Edit: Pictures uploaded.

Also yes, single bore all the way down the barrel. I got a kit with an AC threaded back, .685, .689 and .693 'fronts' from Slothball

im pretty sure breakaway understands the concept of a two piece barrel.

the confusion might just have been because its the fronts which have different bores and usually its the back that has different bores like with a freak.

Being that the unitec works differently from other two pieces, thought the pics might help.

In a normal 2 piece, the back is the controlling bore and the front screws into that. whereas with the unitec the back is just controlling the main thread and the 'front' is actually the entire barrel and it's all a single bore.

  aiii the fronts have the bore size and the backs have the marker thread. the front fits all the way down the inside of the back giving it only 1 internal barrel and the back is there simply for a color change and to fit it into the marker. lucky un1tech barrels are second to none. they are the best barrels ive used and even when overboring with a .693 its still sooooo accurate shot after shot. A M A Z I N G !

cheers balf but no im not gonna be there - exams

okay i think i get it - i thought it was just like a normal barrel and you just stick it into the back - which was why i was confused as to the boreing thing - i was just being dumb - i get it now

not getting one - but i get it
