now don't get me wrong alot of southern teams are good sports,
playing fair and hard.
while some are down right rude and insulting.
i know us cider drinkers are all meant to be daft and silly.
but hey thats no right to take the mik out of us , is there no code of conduct on a paintball feild
i.e shaking hands at the end of a game .
i suppose you could always kick your pot and swear at the marshall's.
it is about time that some teams got a reality check.
but hey that just my opinion.
any response from the southwest teams would be appreciated & and of course any one else with a i.q of more than 10.
that will count out certain teams.

don'y get me wrong there is a lot of good fair teams in the south east,
but you do get a lot of london teams looking down on the other area's
i.e south west, and up nofth.
just asking a question .
why do some teams have a chip the size of mc-cains on there shoulder??????

YES

I had 14 teams attend the TT challenge a lot were new teams playing their first toureny, that have grown from the accademy but by all means not all. Sad put in 3 teams and as we all know they are from all over the uk. Cambridge area was covered by corrosion young guns and appocalypse. Hailing from essex Black star nice to see you again guys. So eight teams from the south ;)

This was the friendliest happiest day I have ever hosted on site, bearing in mind we are a Lovley site my marshals have only ever been lit up once and went in to deep shock:eek: :( No raised voices let alone fisty cuffs).

So this really is saying some thing.

I did not manage to get out to the feilds till the last few games so can't comment on hand shaking. I think the fact that every single team plus the spectators some 20 -30 strong ( wives, girl
Friends, kids of the above, team supporters and thunder virtually all in attendance to give moral support) Were all out on the feilds marker drop to the floor in abbandon cheering on the teams (I kid you not you could hear it across the whole site) Says a whole lot about the teams in question and their attitude.

I hasten to add this is a fun freindly event and not part of a leauge. I would like to think this atomspher and sportman ship (on the whole) will with stand points and being part of a series.

Hopefully Mr Big and the other moderator will be good to their word and give us a space on here for uk tourney write ups. we all hope so and then we will have piccys to show you all.

Peace love and cookies

In my experience most South East Teams are as good mannered as any other team, just a small minority have an attitude (oh and a couple of French teams we played!).

I always find it amusing when people kick their pots, thrown down their guns like little kids just because they have lost. Its only a game, relax.

Yeah, you are right that there are a few South East teams that take it all too seriously and kick stuff and throw around accusations when they lose. Some of these teams are good and some of them are downright crap (always like it when a crap team that you've rolled over in like 1 minute accuse you of cheating!).

People with this attitude are pathetic, they've lost the reason that we all started playing 'ball... TO ENJOY OURSELVES.

I also totally know what you mean about some but by no means all French teams. Unfortunately there are people like this inthe sport that we love and there's very little we can do about it.

would be nice if marshalls could be harder on people who are abusive, throw things etc. but the marshalls dont get paid enough to risk being beat up just because someone is upset they lost, or doesn't agree with the marshall's decision.

What we need is for all players to have ID cards and be able to ban people for periods of time for misbehaving. Not sure how big the UK paintball federation (?) is, but it would be nice if our sport had a single body to represent it.
